Malham Barley Engineered Oak Click

Our Malham Barley Oak 190 x 15/4mm Click has proven incredibly popular amongst visitors to luxuryflooring.co.uk. The product has a plank width of 190mm, which is judged to be a fairly wide plank width. This makes it the perfect plank for those larger areas within the home, for example, the living room. This product is lacquered which gives the plank a smooth, shiny surface, which is easy to clean and maintain over time.

The total thickness of this product is 15mm, which is dense enough to cope with a reasonable amount of traffic and will also allow you to sand and refinish the surface numerous times should you feel the need to. Please note we don’t believe this will be necessary for the first ten years. 4mm of this total thickness is made up of real oak (wear layer) sustainably sourced in Europe (Germany). This is another of our fixed length products. These fixed lengths are 1860mm.

You may have noticed that this product uses the ‘click’ method of installation. Click or glueless engineered oak has a handful of clear benefits when compared with a product that uses the tongue and groove installation method. First and foremost, each plank simply clicks together like a jigsaw without the need for joint glue. This not only speeds up the process of laying the actual floor but is also an entirely mess free way of installing.

The grade of our Malham Barley Oak is rustic, which means you are likely to come across natural knots and imperfections within the batch. This grade of timber is often referred to as ‘rustic’ on other supplier’s websites and is seen as the main attraction when purchasing natural products.
