What is wastage?
When working out how much flooring to buy, it's important to add on a bit extra. This is because each room is unique in its size and shape and often you'll have to cut several boards to accommodate this. This extra allowance is known as 'wastage'.

Description
Our Studley Immaculate Oak 190 x 14/3mm Wood Flooring has a total thickness of 14mm with a 3mm solid hardtop wear layer. This product comes in fixed lengths of 1900mm, which is in line with industry standards; our fixed length products have starter boards to help reduce waste.
This product has a lacquered finish which is what gives the plank such a smooth, shiny surface. In addition to its shimmering appearance, the flooring is really easy to clean and maintain which makes it ideal for busy homes and areas with high foot traffic.
Each plank has a 4V Groove, bevelled edge giving each plank more definition individually. This floor can be sanded down up to 3 times however we would not deem this necessary to do for the first 15-20 years
The grade of this product is prime, which is the highest grade when it comes to wood flooring. Due to the way that the wood is cut it is uniform in its appearance and there are little/no knots of imperfections, so if it's a clean board that you're looking for then this is the product for you.
We offer free samples on all of our products, so if you like what you see but aren't 100% then why not order a sample to really get a feel for the floor and see how it would fit within your home.
