Description

Our Painswick Spiced Oak is the newest addition to our engineered wood range.

This product is part of our parquet flooring range. One of the most popular styles of parquet flooring is herringbone which includes planks arranged in a pattern that resembles the bones of a fish. Herringbone is traditionally used in grand houses but has recently become popular in modern homes due to the luxurious and classy feel it exhumes.

Our Painswick Spiced Oak is engineered oak. Engineered wood is the perfect substitute for solid wood flooring due to the real solid wood top layer. This makes the flooring durable, easier to maintain and achieve that real solid wood effect at a lower cost. Due to the top wood layer being bonded with a plywood base, engineered wood can withstand fluctuating temperatures which makes them a perfect choice if you’re looking to install underflooring heating.

This product hosts a deep golden colour which is perfect when looking to achieve a classic look. It is also a select grade which means the wood contains natural knots and grains that have been preserved and not over stressed giving it a traditional look. The wood is brushed and oiled which involves removing any new growth and then using oil to highlight the wood's natural charm.

This product has a tongue and groove joining method which makes it easy for the planks to be put together. This product needs to be installed with a nailed or glued down method.

Happy with this flooring

I am happy with the way it looks, it changed our entire bedroom! The only thing that I’m not sure about it’s the thickness, seems a bit on the thinner side compared with what you see out there. Overall I’m happy with the look and I’ll order some more to continue through the rest of the house.

Beautiful flooring. Our living room looks absolutely stunning now! So easy to work with also being 10mm and not 18/20mm it was a lot easier to cut etc. I am buying more to go throughout the house, as it just looks incredible. I wish I could post pictures so you can see just how gorgeous it looks now it's complete. I would not hesitate to recommend this product. Note - it is nowhere near as dark as the image suggests, it's much closer to what I would call golden oak.

So happy we went with the parquet style boards. Our whole downstairs has been transformed. Couldnt recommend highly enough
